Triumph Scrambler 1200X launched in India at Rs. 11.83 lakh.

Triumph has expanded its lineup in India with the introduction of the new Scrambler 1200 X, offering a more affordable option compared to the Scrambler 1200 XC and XE. Priced at Rs. 11.83 lakh (ex-showroom), the Scrambler 1200 X features a seat height of 820mm, providing accessibility for riders of varying heights. Additionally, the seat height can be lowered to 795mm with an optional accessory lower seat.

Distinguishing it from the XC, the Scrambler 1200 X comes with more basic suspension and braking hardware. It features preload adjustability for the rear Marzocchi monoshock and axially mounted Nissin calipers. In contrast, the XC model offers adjustable suspension at both ends and Brembo M50 brake calipers.

Both variants share a common powertrain, featuring a 1,200cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crank, producing 88.7bhp and 110Nm of peak torque. Designed for off-road capabilities, the motorcycles are equipped with long-travel suspension and a 21-17-inch spoke wheel combination. The bike has a kerb weight of 228kg and a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters.

In terms of features, the Scrambler 1200 X includes a digital console combining LCD and TFT elements, offering five riding modes, cornering dual-channel ABS, and traction control to enhance the riding experience. Triumph continues to strengthen its presence in the Indian market with this latest addition to its Scrambler lineup.
